Hey all! If you are looking for effective ‘no-nonsense’ computer support and impartial advice, then you’ve come to the right place! This site is still in its beta stages so it may be updated with more information later on and could look different when you next visit.

A bit about New IT Solutions:

After 5 years of various different computer support jobs and helping family and friends, I finally decided to start my own business from it. The business is focused on home computer support for the most part which I go into a bit more detail about below, and I will also provide support to small businiesses where I can.

I offer a wide range of support, from Virus and Spyware removal, giving advice on the best programs to use to helping to prevent future infections (and I make a point of using the best free programs around which are often better than the ones you can buy from major companies), to problems with home networks and the internet, even helping to set up broadband wireless or wired and more complicated issues like data recovery and complete system re-builds. I can even come and help people who are struggling with a new computer, or help with the use of some programs. Even if what you need isn't listed here, give me a call, email me (see the Contact Us page) or even post on the forums, and let me know what it is you need a hand with and I will tell you if I can / can't help! If i cant help I will try my best to point you to someone that can.

I also offer full hardware support. For instance, I can offer support with anything from new RAM to speed a up computer and generally improve its performance, to building whole computers on request. The latter is something I plan to do as another large part of the business, but as of right now, its not going to be a major focus. But by all means contact me if you would like a computer built for a specific purpose or just a general family PC and I will see what I can do.

All of the support given on this website is free. Where possible I will attempt to solve any simple issues using this site's forums first (or over the phone). I do also offer computer support on a call-out basis. This however is only available to those of you in the UK and relatively close to Where i live. I Would be more than willing to travel up to one hour in any direction, but any further than that and it would depend on what needs doing.

Rough areas I cover on a callout basis:

> Oxfordshire
> North Wiltshire
> South Gloucestershire

If you're not in these areas it doesn't mean I can't come out so it's worth checking, it just means giving an accurate time scale to get to you may be a bit harder.

On this site you will find information about the business (mostly on this home page), forums, contact details, and most of the other usual things that you would expect to find on a website. There will also be a glossary of computing terms if your not sure about something, but that is under contruction right now, and being that there are a lot of computing terms, it might take a while! So just ask if you dont understand something, or if you're unsure about anything!
